The rich, rolling dairy plain and dramatic mauve escarpment of the Shoalhaven formed a perfect backdrop for this exciting exhibition of sculptures.
'The Bower', picturesque garden of contemporary artist, Anna Glynn, was open to the public for the first time during Easter to form both inspiration and context for the works.
The work of over 30 Shoalhaven artists, in a variety of media, from contemporary installation to more traditional sculpture, was featured in the exhibition.
Despite the threatening Easter weather, the exhibition was a huge success.
Over three days, more than 1000 people passed through the gate of 'The Bower'.
Visitors expressed amazement at the wealth of sculptural ideas, quirky, amusing, classical and contemporary.
Over $6,500 was raised towards the Shoalhaven Artsss Space fund, part of which will be used towards the next event.
"Art outdoors brings intimacy to the landscape, the human presence to nature."
